New Referee Uniforms The United States Soccer Federation has switched over to a new uniform style. The old style may still be used for a little while. We expect that by 2009 USSF will make the new uniforms mandatory. The new uniform consist of a newly designed jersey with another color added (Green) and newly designed socks. The three striped socks and USSF Logo socks will still be allowed to be worn after the final change. Please start purchasing the new style of uniforms. Once USSF sets the "final" date to wear old jerseys, we will comply and not allow referees to wear the old style The new style uniforms are available at Official Sports at www.officialsports.com . They are on a pre-order basis at this time and are expected to arrive after January 31st. Also please begin buying alternate colors of the new style, at least a red and black. We have seen several teams wearing yellow and the referee wearing yellow as well. This is a color conflict and the referee should change into the next best alternate color.
